Kenny Owens, checker with Setien and Associates since 2010 has been in the steel business for over 40 years. Kenny’s steel career includes both the drafting room and project management side of the business for fabricators and erectors. He has served as field project manager on major steel projects in Texas and throughout the Western United States. Performing as onsite project manager has thought him that all mistakes have consequences and that they often only show up during the erection process where errors are the costliest. When checking a project Kenny draws on this experience to limit these costly mistakes and insure that a project runs smooth throughout the fabrication and erection process. The best part of his job at Setien and Associates is working side by side with his coworkers who are some of the most experienced people in the industry. Kenny and his wife Patsy live in Rockport Texas where he works in Rockport office of Setien and Associates.
